Our latest project builds upon the success of the pilot education centre.

Since the opening of the three classrooms we have been fully occupied and subsequently had to turn away dozens of refugees every day.

Our plans for 2017

  • Renting a much larger facility in the centre of Athens that can accommodate up to 420 refugees every day
  • Focus on offering high quality teaching to refugees aged 16+
  • Continue to teach all levels of Greek, English
  • Offer complimentary lessons including arithmetic and history
  • Adding a library, IT facility and small kitchen
  • Offering differing levels of competency from basic reading and writing to contextual learning
  • Offer therapy sessions for refugees who are suffering from post traumatic distress and other mental illnesses

We are currently trying to raise funds to build and manage the new education centre school.

Our long term goal is to continue operating the facility as long as it is required, responding to the changing needs of refugees and to help them harmoniously integrate within society. Please help us realise our ambitions by supporting our cause and donating.
